Palmare
It has been suggested that this article or section be merged with palmar erythema. (Discuss)Erythema palmare is a typical symptom of liver cirrhosis. It is caused by arteriovenous-shunts in the thenar and hypothenar eminences of the palms.
It is characterised by redness of the palm on the hypothenar and thenar eminences, but may also present on the finger tips and soles of the feet.
It may be a normal as in a case of pregnancy or a manifestion in pathological conditions such as cirrhosis, rheumatoid arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, etc. Index of /flyzip/downloads/palmare/.
